Kybella® is an FDA-approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells. It is an effective treatment option for “stubborn” fat that may not respond to diet or exercise, especially “double chins,” jowls, back fat, or other areas. Kybella is made from synthetic deoxycholic acid, which is a naturally occurring molecule found in the body that breaks down fat.


Treatment with Kybella is quick and easy. When injected, Kybella immediately starts destroying the cells that store fat. The body’s natural healing process begins, and the cells are absorbed by the body. Within four to six weeks, a noticeable reduction in fat should begin to become visible.
